Mole Screening – MAPMYMOLE
We now offer a Mole Screening in our Clinic.
According to Skcin, 1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women in the UK will develop skin cancer – do you know how to spot the early warning signs?
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and worldwide. Melanoma (the deadliest form of the disease) is the fastest-rising cancer in Britain and early detection, diagnosis and treatment is vital. If left untreated it can spread to other parts of the body and become fatal.
How it works:
1. Consultation
Attend the clinic for a consultation and assessment of the mole/lesion using a dermoscope that you can see in the video. This is done by Annie.
2. Photography
I then submit your pictures to be reviewed by Map My Mole‘s leading consultant dermatologists.
3. Results
Within 24-48 hours a report will be sent, which will determine if we can remove the lesion in clinic at a future date, or if further investigation needs to be carried out with your GP.
