Unwanted tattoos can be easily and safely removed gradually with a course of laser treatments.

At Nurse Annie Aesthetic Clinic we have invested in the latest and most advanced medical-grade laser technology to remove tattoo ink. Our high-tech laser uses concentrated light beams which pass through the skin and break up the tattoo ink into tiny particles, which the body is then able to dispose of via the immune system.

Tattoos with multiple colours might require a different variation of intensity of laser that optimally target unwanted pigment for even faster results and less downtime.

Assessment

This includes a consultation with Annie at our clinic just south of Norwich. We will discuss what you are concerned about and the results you are looking for. We will take your medical history and ask health-related questions to make sure the treatment is suitable for you. You will be asked to sign a patient consent form.



Treatment

Depending on procedure, treatment lasts from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours. I will use a very fine medical grade sterile needle to inject into the treatment area. No anaesthetic is needed for this and there is very little discomfort.

Recovery

The majority of people require no downtime following these procedures. You can return to work and normal activities the same day. Full information on after care will be provided, and Annie is always available to answer any questions during the healing process.



Result

Can see the results after the initial first session but for continued improvement and refining a full course is recommended.

Follow up reviews are free of charge and are booked on day of appointment for two weeks after initial appointment.

Are there any potential side effects?

As with all prescription medication, there is a risk of side effects. Any reaction is usually minimal and temporary. You may experience slight discomfort and bruising at the site of needle entry. Some people experience a headache, especially following their first treatment. If you have any concerns, please do contact Annie who will be happy to discuss.
